I have heard, although I am awaiting more details, that KidSport New Westminster is having a used sports equipment sale-fund raiser event on August 19th, 10am-2pm. The sale will be taking place at Glenbrook Middle School in New Westminster.
The money raised at this event will be used to help more kids get involved in community sports.
To donate sports equipment to the sale, you can drop off your donations on August 1st, 8th, August 16th between 6 and 8pm. Drops off can be made at the NWSS parking lot (along the 8th Ave side of the lot).
So if you are like people and have a garage full of sports equipment you haven’t used for too long a time, consider donating it to the KidSport fund raiser.
