I was out for a bicycle ride this afternoon when I saw my favourite food truck, the Cheese St Grill parked across from the Poirier Community Centre.
I stopped for a sandwich and, seeing as I am a fan of the Cheese St Grill’s Facebook page, I knew about their special lunch offering – a sandwich of grilled grass fed rib beef steak, crimini mushrooms, sautéed shallots with peppercorn goat cheese, and fresh arugula with balsamic dressing. All on a lightly toasted ciabatta.
And of course it comes with one of their dill pickle wedges. All that and a bag of chips. Literally.
It was as good as it sounds.
Oh, and yes, it was awfully cold on my ears and hands while I was out riding my bicycle!
