A nice little Christmas gift I received this year was the Filson Western Vest (pictured above).
The vest is made in the USA of 100% pure Mackinaw wool from Canadian farms.
As you probably know, wool is a fantastic material because it keeps you warm even when it is wet. So if you are out for a walk in the rain and get wet, you’ll still be warm.
The best part of this vest to me is that it is stylish. I’ll happily and proudly wear it to school but I’ll also wear it on weekends when I’m out hiking or working on the back 40.
So that’s it for today. I’m headed out to the country to field test my new Filson Western Vest (that’s code for I’m going to walk the dog around the neighbourhood).
