This last blog post of November 2011 is being done on my new iPad, purchased at the Macstation Burnaby.
I am finding it easy to use for reading blogs but a little more tricky to create blog posts and other written items.
Also, the touch screen can be finicky to work with. I have relatively large hands (you know what they say about a man with large hands; large gloves required).
The other thing that I am having a tough time getting used to is the auto-correct function. That is just bizarre to me. If I do not click the x on the suggested choice the word is automatically modified for me. That can be embarrassing.
However, the apps that are available are astounding. Some apps are useful while many are just weird and, well, useless. I have been loading my new gadget up with what I would call useful apps: thing for converting the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius and other useful things like an app for telling me what time it is and what the weather is like in Hawaii. Handy, useful apps.

Congrats! Nothing like an iPad!
Hey Stacey.
You can turn auto correct off. I agree the “pad” takes some getting used to. It is a bit tricky at times. I like the split keyboard feature that allows me to type with my thumbs.
