Our first bean has poked his (or is it her?) head up out of the soil in our little backyard garden plot.
As well as the first bean is a solid row of Swiss Chard. I have no idea what possessed me to plant Swiss Chard but I did. I can already see the stringy red stalks developing. The only thing that makes Swiss Chard palatable is to cover it in equal amounts of butter and salt.
And finally, for today is the first generation radish. What a flavour explosion this little red morsel was!
