Back in September of 2018 I installed a plywood plank flooring in our kitchen and I shared here about it. Well, it is long past due for me to update how the floor has been aging.
Well, I am happy to say that … they are still awesome! They have “aged” a little which has only added to their character.
And, when I installed the plywood plank flooring I made a couple of boo-boos where I did not butt the ends of the planks close enough together. Well, they are still not close enough together and they still look just fine.
For context, at the same time I installed the new kitchen floor, I also installed a decent quality laminate floor in the our living-room and dining-room. The truth is, the laminate LOOKS nice but really, it kind of feels like walking on a plastic floor – not a comfortable feeling.
The flooring in the kitchen actually FEELS nice under foot. And it also looks great.
I would definitely do plywood plank flooring again!
