Still my favourite hole in the wall sushi joint, Asa Sushi in South Burnaby near the corner of Royal Oak and Rumble. Love this place and today instead of my usual take-out fare, I actually had a few minutes when I was not expected anywhere else so I enjoyed my sushi-sashimi combo plate at a table.
I have to say, the thinly sliced toro sashimi was wonderful. While I do enjoy the large cuts of sushi and sashimi typically found in Korean owned sushi joints, today’s thin slices of toro were a nice change.
