Student voice is the most powerful and least tapped resource in education.
The saddest and most ironic practice in schools is how hard we try to measure how students are doing and how rarely we ever ask them.
Ask how they’re doing.
Ask how we’re doing.
Then listen to them.
The purpose of schooling is not to prepare students for the next stage of schooling. That isn’t a rat race I want to be a part of.
The purpose of education is to inspire students to explore, invent, challenge, and connect!
