Choosing the right winter wear for playing or working outside in the winter makes all the difference in how comfortable you will be. I choose to wear wool when I’m working outdoors.
In a previous blog post I discussed some of the essentials to pack in the car or truck before you head out on a highway in the winter time. Now in my most recent Homestead on the Hill video, I discuss what I think are the best choices for the combination of comfort and warmth for winter wear when working or playing in the outdoors.
The next video I have in production is one about cutting down a few small bug-killed trees in order to most importantly, control the fire risk around the homestead, but also to get some more firewood to keep the cabin warm.
