I have discovered a new breakfast joint. But unlike most of my favourite breakfast joints, this one is not in Metro Vancouver. It is in a most unlikely location in the Fraser Canyon east of Boston Bar.
I stopped at Fat Jack’s Homestyle Diner this weekend and sampled their bacon, mushroom, and cheddar cheese omelette. I am pleased to report that it was spectacular.
With the omelette came homestyle potato cubes and thick cut multigrain toast. On the side was a nice little scoop of homemade style jam.
This is definitely a breakfast joint that I will be returning to even though it is not very close to my home in Metro Vancouver.
