Okonomi Sushi; Uptown New West
Snuck out of the building today to Okonomi Sushi for a quick lunch. I had the sashimi combo C or number 194, for $9.95. Just like they do at my favourite hole-in-the-wall sushi joint, Asa Sushi, they provide a handy little container of soy sauce rather than all those nasty little packages that typically squirt…

Okonomi Sushi in New Westminster

Costco’s turkey and provolone sandwich
Lunch today at Costco. I decided to sample their turkey and provolone sandwich. For $5.99 or $6.71 it is pretty tasty, if not a little too salty.

Magic beans growing
Amazing what a few consecutive days of sunshine and heat will do for a garden. Last week I posted photos of my garden and the beans were nothing. The ONE plant that had sprouted looked weak and lonely. On Sunday the new beans exploded out of the ground!
