This morning I had a brief flashback to my life as a very young child. I flashed back to the time when I lived on the family farm (the reality was that “the farm” was more of a patch of dirt with green wherever water was added). Anyway, the flashback came to me as I was trying to put clothing back on Story post-crappy diaper.
Back on the farm we had this idea that it would be nifty to dress our old Siamese tomcat up in doll clothes. That old cat was more wild animal than pet. I believe those involved still bear the emotional scars from that day.
On an unrelated note, is there a documented instance in human history where a thing (head?) of celery was purchased, brought home and completely used before it became compost in the refrigerator? Anywhere?
