Day Two Eating in the City

Breakfast in the city doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive – although nothing is inexpensive anywhere these days!

So for breakfast I walked over to Cafe Artigiano on Hornby Street.

My routine at home is to start the day with a cup or two of black coffee made in my French Press. That’s exactly how I started at Cafe Artigiano.

Look at that pure beauty pouring into my cup! Exquisite.

For breakfast I had the egg and cheese croissant. Nicely done. Creamy, cheesy eggs in a lovely toasted croissant. Very nice.

But how about this for clever marketing?! Shots fired at the big American mermaid coffee empire.

Of course after breakfast comes lunch so I wandered over to Urban Fare on Alberni Street and had a slice of pizza. Actually piggy-me had two slices.

Honestly, I should have ordered one. Two was too much. But they were both very tasty. And filling. That’s lunch.

I guess two slices of pizza was enough for lunch and dinner.

Rather than a “real” dinner I walked up Robson Street to the Breka Bakery and Cafe and sat and enjoyed an oatmilk flat white.

And that’s Day Two of Eating in the city all done.
