Another quickie community announcement … Theatrix Youtheatre Society is presenting their production of the cutting edge Broadway shocker that swept the 2009 Tony awards and won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama … Next To Normal.
Next To Normal is a rock musical. The story concerns a mother who struggles with worsening bipolar disorder and the effect that her mental illness has on her family. The musical also addresses such issues as grieving a loss, suicide, drug abuse, ethics in modern psychiatry, and suburban life.
The Theatrix Youtheatre Society is presenting their production of Next To Normal at the Evergreen Cultural Centre May 17-19th, 2012.
